This course provides basic information on HIV (and AIDS) and summarizes treatment recommendations.


a). Discuss the definitions of HIV and AIDS, describe how they are transmitted, and the treatment recommendations outlined in the course.

b). Name at least two options for HIV testing, and describe the tests that are recommended.

c). Summarize common HIV treatment regimens that have been found to be effective.

d). Discuss the importance of treatment adherence and factors that influence adherence.
