- Live CE Webinar
September 18, 2026
12:00 pm - 4:30 pm
Introduction

Clients are already bringing psychedelics into the therapy room, and many clinicians are unprepared to respond. One client asks how to prepare for a ketamine infusion. Another wants help integrating a psilocybin retreat they attended in Oregon. A third casually discloses using mushrooms monthly “for personal growth.” This gap carries real clinical and liability risk.
Psychedelic-informed psychotherapy addresses this directly. Unlike psychedelic-assisted therapy, it involves no substances in session—making it fully within the scope of practice of any licensed clinician today. This training equips participants to handle these conversations competently: understanding the substances clients are most likely to use, assessing risk accurately, applying harm reduction principles, and supporting integration in ways that translate psychedelic experiences into lasting therapeutic change.
The course provides a plain-language overview of the substances clients are most likely to ask about, including mechanisms of action, critical drug interactions, and contraindications. Participants will learn to navigate the current legal landscape, apply a three-tier screening framework for assessing client readiness and risk, and implement three evidence-based integration techniques. The training closes with practical guidance on clinical documentation and referral, so participants leave with tools they can use in their very next session.
This is a 4-CE online seminar delivered virtually in real-time via an industry-standard webinar platform.
