Join Dr. Jennifer Sweeton for a unique Interactive Intensive featuring the complete NDIT (Neural Desensitization and Integration Training) Level I curriculum combined with live question-and-answer discussions throughout the training experience.
This Interactive Intensive fulfills the same educational content requirements as the standard NDIT Level I training while providing participants with opportunities for real-time interaction and discussion throughout both training days.
NDIT is a neuroscience-informed trauma treatment model that integrates findings from trauma research, neuroscience, attachment theory, memory reconsolidation research, and evidence-based psychotherapy approaches. The model provides clinicians with a practical framework for understanding and treating the cognitive, emotional, somatic, relational, and nervous system effects of trauma.
Participants will learn how trauma impacts the brain and body, how to identify and address common barriers to recovery, and how to implement practical interventions that promote regulation, resilience, adaptive processing, and long-term recovery. Emphasis is placed on immediately applicable clinical strategies that can be integrated into a variety of treatment settings and therapeutic orientations.

After completing this training, participants will be able to integrate NDIT principles and interventions into existing psychotherapy approaches.
After completing this training, participants will be able to state the three steps of memory reconsolidation.
After completing this training, participants will be able to describe why bilateral movement can facilitate desensitization to distressing thoughts or memories.
After completing this training, participants will be able to identify two ways to alter visual or auditory memory components that decreases their intensity during imaginal exposure.
After completing this training, participants will be able to state at least three techniques for reconnecting with the body.
