This course explores ethical aspects associated with the increased use of neuromodulation in anorexia nervosa.

Objectives:

      a). Describe repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS).

      b). Provide an overview of the reviewed published studies on rTMS for anorexia.

      c). Discuss the ethical implications of using rTMS for anorexia.

This course on latest 2016 NBCC ethics code establishes the minimum ethical behaviors and provides an expectation and assurance of ethical practice for all who use the professional services of NCC’s (National Certified Counselors). Objectives for Ethics Continuing Education:

     b.) State three safeguards recommended for therapists using Facebook, which can reduce ethical breaches and dilemmas.

     d.) Discuss the importance of distinguishing between one’s personal and professional online identity, and how merging these two identities may impact the therapeutic alliance with clients.
