While working with psychological “parts” reached pop status with the advent of Internal Family Systems (IFS) theory, the concept of “parts work” is a concept that resonates with many therapists and clients alike. Consequently, we are starting to see it used in conjunction with many popular therapy approaches., your favorite trauma therapy included!

EMDR is a much more flexible tool than many people think. Beyond its classic applications, it can also be helpful as a tool to address several different common elements of trauma dysfunction, within the classic 8 phase approach.

This course will focus on learning advanced EMDR ego state interventions to work with some of your most challenging clients within EMDR. This training will include elements of parts work, ego state interventions and feeling state theory. You will learn specific interventions to use for complex PTSD, addictive and compulsive disorders, fears, and phobias.
