Frank Anderson, MD, is a world-renowned trauma expert, Harvard-trained psychiatrist and global speaker. He is the co-author of the IFS Skills Training Manual (2017), acclaimed best-selling author of Transcending Trauma (2021) and newly released memoir, To Be Loved: A Story of Truth, Trauma and Transformation (2024). Dr Anderson has a long affiliation with Bessel van der Kolk at the Trauma Research Foundation and is a lead trainer at the IFS Institute under Richard Schwartz. He is passionate about teaching brain-based psychotherapy and integrating current neuroscience knowledge with cutting edge models of therapy. Dr. Anderson believes that traumatic events can have a lasting effect on the health and well-being of individuals and that addressing these events will help lead people down a path of love, connection and unity. He is the director and cofounder of the Trauma Institute (traumainstitute.com) and Trauma-Informed Media (trauma-informedmedia.com), organizations that provide educational resources and promote trauma awareness. As a result of his early childhood experiences and personal journey transformation, he is dedicated to bringing more trauma healing to the world. Jennifer Sweeton, PsyD, JD, MS, MA
Originally trained as a neuroscientist, Dr. Jennifer Sweeton is a clinical and forensic psychologist, Amazon #1 best-selling author in clinical psychology, and internationally-recognized expert on trauma and the neuroscience of mental health. She is the author of the Trauma Treatment Toolbox (PESI Publishing), Train Your Brain Card Deck (PESI Publishing and Media), Eight Key Brain Areas of Mental Health and Illness (W. W. Norton & Company), and the forthcoming Traumatic Stress Recovery Workbook (New Harbinger Publications, Inc). Dr. Sweeton completed her doctoral training at the Stanford University School of Medicine, the Pacific Graduate School of Psychology, and the National Center for PTSD. Additionally, she holds a master’s degree in personality psychology (with an emphasis in affective neuroscience) from Stanford University, and studied behavioral genetics and psychopathology at Harvard University. In 2025, Dr. Sweeton earned her JD from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law and serves as Outside Counsel for Online CE Credits, which she co-owns. Dr. Sweeton resides in the greater Kansas City area, where she owns a private practice. Sue Johnson, Ed.D.
Dr. Sue Johnson is the founding Director of the International Centre for Excellence in Emotionally Focused Therapy and the Ottawa Couple and Family Institute. For over ten years, she was also the Director of the Marital and Family Clinic at the Civic Hospital in Ottawa. Sue is a clinical psychologist, researcher, professor, author, popular presenter and speaker and one of the leading innovators in the field of couple therapy. She presents all over the world and writes on attachment and bonding, the science of love, interventions to repair relationships, trauma couples and forgiveness. Sue is the primary developer of the Emotionally Focused model of couple therapy (EFT) which has demonstrated its effectiveness in over 25 years of clinical research. She is the author of several seminal books and numerous articles on couple and family therapy as well as the popular book Hold Me Tight (2008). Sue holds professorships at the University of Ottawa and at Alliant University in San Diego, California. She has received numerous honors for her work, including the Outstanding Contribution to the Field of Couple and Family Therapy Award from the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy and the Research in Family Therapy Award from the American Family Therapy Academy. Sue’s most recent books are Attachment Theory in Practice: Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) with Individuals, Couples, and Families (2019) and A Primer for Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT): Cultivating Fitness and Growth in Every Client (with Leanne Campbell, in press).

For anyone who may be skeptical about online learning please know that Jennifer is far more engaging than most online teachers. She regularly takes questions from the room so it feels more inclusive and "real" which keeps your attention better than a "talking head" presentation. This is not a typical online training.

The information provided was invaluable for my professional practice! My advise is to take good notes over the length of the whole course so you have them "at hand" when needed, and if they mention a treatment/technique you are not familiar with, search more information about it, so you can acquire additional tools for your practice.

Great use of time. Just finished the EMDR Certification track and it was great training. I really feel that I have the tool set now to practice EMDR and with competency. The web format that is used with Online CE Credits is very easy to use and facilitates the learning process very well. The other important point is that I believe it was a good value too. It was much less expensive than other EMDR training programs that I have checked out and the instructor quality and professionalism was of the highest caliber. The information provided was invaluable for my professional practice! My advise is to take good notes over the length of the whole course so you have them "at hand" when needed, and if they mention a treatment/technique you are not familiar with, search more information about it, so you can acquire additional tools for your practice.
