A section of this training will examine the impact COVID-19 and excessive home confinement has had on screen time exposure habits and sleep disturbances. Other topics discussed in this training include internalization and externalizing behavioral problems, executive dysfunction, self-regulation issues, psychiatric comorbidity, and poor health outcomes. Implications for screening and intervention will be explored. Empirically-based research findings will be presented throughout this training.
