CE That Meets Alabama Requirements
If you’re a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Alabama, the requirements are:
A minimum of thirty (30) contact hours of continuing education (CE) is required every two years for license renewal.
At least three (3) contact hours of the thirty (30) must be devoted to ethics.
At least ten (10) contact hours must be in interactive classroom/live events (e.g., synchronous Zoom, not pre-recorded), and at least three (3) additional contact hours must be in clinical social work education.
