CE That Meets Texas Requirements
If you’re a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas, the requirements are:
A minimum of twenty-four (24) contact hours of continuing education (CE) is required every two years for license renewal (due by the last day of the birth month). Must take a human trafficking course.
At least six (6) hours must be devoted to ethics. Must take Texas jurisprudence exam (counts as 1 hour ethics). At least three (3) hours must be in cultural diversity or competency.
