Description
Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) has long been recognized as an evidence-based therapy for the treatment of psychological trauma, and has even been declared a “best practice” for the treatment of PTSD by the International Society of Traumatic Stress Studies. However, CPT training is difficult to obtain outside of an agency setting, which limits many clinicians’ trauma treatment skillset. This two-day training introduces attendees to CPT, step-by-step, teaching each of the 12 CPT sessions. The cognitive skills taught in CPT, both alone and when integrated with other trauma treatment approaches, can facilitate fast recovery in some of your most traumatized clients. Don’t miss this rare training opportunity!
