ADHD, Depression, and Anxiety: A Neurodivergent-Affirming Approach for Clinicians

Price $172.50
CE's 5.75 CE’s

Introduction

Date Course Created: August 2025

ADHD diagnoses are surging, creating heavy demand for trained clinicians who can both accurately assess for, diagnose, and treat ADHD and its common comorbid conditions. These overlapping conditions can create significant challenges for accurate assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning. ADHD-related executive functioning difficulties, emotional dysregulation, and motivation issues are often compounded by mood and anxiety disorders, creating complex clinical presentations that require thoughtful, neurodivergent-affirming interventions.

This workshop equips clinicians with specialized tools and knowledge to address ADHD and its frequent comorbidity with depression and anxiety. Participants will explore symptom overlap, the unique ways ADHD influences mood and cognition, and practical strategies to adapt therapy to better support neurodivergent clients.

Through actionable strategies, participants will learn to implement executive functioning accommodations, support emotional regulation, and address cognitive distortions commonly seen in ADHD and mood disorders. This training emphasizes fostering self-compassion, reducing internalized stigma, and affirming the strengths and needs of neurodivergent clients.

This is a 5.75-CE noninteractive, self-paced online video course delivered in home study format via an industry-standard online learning platform.
