This course includes an evidence-informed stress management manual that mental health providers can utilize to help employees enhance well-being and regulate stress.
Objectives:
a). State the definition of stress and give a rationale for why it is important to manage stress.
b). Name at least five distress sequelae.
c). Identify the two major brain regions involved in the experience of stress and stress management.
d). Discuss the rationale for utilizing mindfulness techniques to help employees manage stress.
e). Name at least four mindfulness techniques taught in this course.
Target Audience:
The target audience for this event includes psychologists, licensed clinical social workers, licensed counselors, MFT’s, and other clinical mental health professionals.
