     9:00 am - 1:00 pm

    Central Standard Time (CST)

Traditional EMDR therapy has been a gold standard for trauma treatment, but EMDR 2.0 introduces cutting-edge modifications designed to enhance desensitization speed, reduce distress during exposure, and improve treatment outcomes.

This workshop explores the latest advances in EMDR, including working memory taxation, complete trauma network activation, and motivation-enhancing techniques. Participants will learn how to integrate EMDR 2.0 into their practice, ensuring greater client buy-in and reduced risk of destabilization.

Through case examples, live demonstrations, and interactive exercises, attendees will gain practical skills to immediately apply in clinical settings.

Objectives:

a). After completing this training, participants will be able to explain the key differences between EMDR and EMDR 2.0, including how modifications impact treatment outcomes.

b). After completing this training, participants will be able to describe how working memory taxation enhances desensitization and apply multiple distraction techniques to maximize treatment efficiency.

c). After completing this training, participants will be able to utilize strategies to fully activate trauma networks to increase the effectiveness of trauma processing.

d). After completing this training, participants will be able to incorporate motivation-building techniques to increase client engagement and willingness to participate in trauma exposure.

e). After completing this training, participants will be able to identify when EMDR 2.0 may not be suitable and how to modify treatment approaches for complex trauma cases.

f). After completing this training, participants will be able to demonstrate proficiency in applying EMDR 2.0 techniques through hands-on practice and case study discussions.
