CE That Meets Nebraska Requirements
If you’re a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LMHP-S) in Nebraska, the requirements are:
A minimum of thirty-two (32) contact hours of continuing education (CE) is required every two years for license renewal (by September 1 of even-numbered years).
At least four (4) contact hours of the thirty-two (32) must be devoted to ethics.
At least six (6) contact hours must relate to diagnosis and treatment of major mental disorders, and all CE must be related to mental health practice and obtained from providers approved by the Nebraska Board of Mental Health Practice (e.g., ASWB-ACE approved). There is no limit on the number of hours completed through online or distance learning.
