CE That Meets Texas Requirements
If you’re a Licensed Psychologist in Texas, the requirements are:
A minimum of forty (40) contact hours of professional development (CE) is required every two years for license renewal (by the last day of the licensee's birth month).
At least six (6) contact hours of the forty (40) must be devoted to ethics, rules, or professional responsibility. In addition, at least six (6) contact hours must be in cultural diversity or competency when providing services to diverse populations.
At least fifty percent (50%) of the total continuing education hours must be obtained from approved or recognized providers, such as professional associations, accredited institutions, or governmental entities, as defined by Board Rule 463.35.
